Book Launch and Exhibition:
The latest Silent Witnesses project, shot in Niger with the support of UNICEF UK, forms the basis of the Foundation’s third book Desert Faces, Silent Witnesses of the Niger Drought, which will be launched at the African Night event in October.

The Al Madad Foundation, a charitable institution registered in the UK in 2001, is committed to increased inter-cultural awareness to help alleviate problems of poverty and exclusion.
Through artistic expression, multi-media, educational projects and events and inter-cultural dialogue, we seek to educate and engage international actors to join us in developing and supporting programs to address these problems.

'African Night' in aid of Water for Life
Al Madad are delighted to announce a special fundraising evening in conjunction with the Albion gallery, London to support the Water for Life project – a joint Al Madad/UNICEF initiative aimed at tackling the effects of drought in Niger. To be held on November 20th, the evening will be bringing together the best artistic talents from the world of international contemporary art and will include music, an auction, and a seated dinner. African Night will also launch the latest Silent Witnesses book, Desert Faces, with an accompanying exhibition of large format prints.
Tickets for this evening, available now, are expected to sell out quickly.
