Our experience in education for refugee and disadvantaged children has fuelled in us a desire to address specific issues that we know first-hand hamper the progress and effectiveness of those working in the field. The solutions are rarely straightforward, but when we see an opportunity to help through innovation or advocacy we do everything we can to seize it.
Our size and experience combine to great advantage when it comes to this aspect of our work, in that we are small enough to move quickly and can tackle issues based on practical knowledge and an independent perspective.
The Foundation’s ultimate goal is that our work in this area, be it research, guidance or recommendations, should stimulate discussion and help to influence not just policy but practice at an institutional level and more widely.
