The heartbreaking loss of life in Palestine is compounded by the willful and wasteful destruction of the potential of an entire generation. In Gaza we supported new mothers who had lost their husbands with essential supplies for wellness and dignity, as well as health visitors to monitor mother and child medical needs and to offer advice.

In the months following the beginning of the project, we saw a dramatic deterioration in the health of our mothers and babies as well as in the living conditions in which they are expected to survive. Our efforts to source supplies from within the Strip became more and more difficult and our health visitors are reported a lack of access to basic disease prevention and medical supplies.

Thanks to the selfless efforts of our partners on the ground were able to sustain our work and continued to provide relief until the end of the year (2024).
