Past Projects
Information about AMF-funded projects over the past few years.


A project in Turkey which ran August 2021 – October 2022. This project aimed to improve the well-being and mental health of war-impacted Syrian refugee children.


A project in Malta which ran September 2021 - August 2022. This project aimed to help young refugees in Malta through provision of ‘tech packs’ and a community centre for classes, community activities and PC-access for job hunting.

A project in Athens, Greece which ran February 2021 - October 2022. The project aimed to foster social integration through technical training (e.g. 'Cooking' pictured left) and Greek language support.

A project in Athens, Greece which ran February 2021 - February 2022. The project provided legal support and advocacy for Unaccompanied Minors in Greece.


A project in Lebanon which ran February 2019 - May 2021. This research project incorporated 10 non-formal education centres and resulted in a ground-breaking paper.

Three projects in Lebanon which ran 2019 - 2020. Rahma were the recipients of AMF's first 'scheduled' grant in spring 2019 and were subsequently approached by AMF to implement two emergency projects: one at the start of the pandemic and one following the Beirut explosion.


A project in Baalbek, Lebanon which ran 1 September 2018 - 30 June 2019. The project provided Art Therapy for children enrolled at the Children's Learning Centre (see below).


Two projects in Baalbek, Lebanon which ran September 2014 - June 2019: The Children's Learning Centre (CLC) and 'Classroom-on-a-Bus'.
